BES has been working with the Council re: the upcoming Matildas visit to Ballarat and we are pleased to report the following;
Monday 30 May
Open Matildas Training session from 5.00 to 6.30pm. Opportunity for photos and signing.
Tuesday 31 May
The Matildas (Chloe Logarzo, Casey Dumont, Larissa Crummer, Lisa DeVanna & Steph Catley) will be visiting the Club on Synthetic Pitch 1 from 4.00-5.30pm. Note: The usual U13 training will take place after the visit as normal from 5.30 to 6.30pm.

Wednesday 1 June
Open Training session from 10 to 11.30am. Opportunity for photos and signing.
Saturday 4 June
*1.00pm to 2.00pm – Free Fun Soccer Clinic for Kids. Hosted by BES and Melbourne City Women’s Team. DJ, Face painting and food available.
*Please note all Development/Senior players are asked to help at the Clinic.
1.30pm – Gates Open
3.00pm – Matildas vs New Zealand Kick Off

Volunteering Opportunities at Matildas Match
Please note volunteers for the below roles are entitled to 2 free tickets. Please reply to Mike Fox – FFV Participation Manager on mfox@ffv.org.au by noon on Friday 27 May if you are interested in volunteering. The below volunteer opportunities are being organized by the FFV.
Volunteer Drivers:
On Tuesday 31 May between 4 to 5.30pm the Matilda’s will be visiting local clubs in the region and we are looking for local drivers to chaperon them to and from the venue. The drivers must have their own cars for the roles. I have outlined more information for each visit below.
Ballarat North United Soccer Club – Russell Square
2 x Drivers – must use their own car
Required to transport 5 players from the hotel, drop them off at the venue and then take them back to the hotel at conclusion of the clinic
Key times:
3.30pm – Arrive at hotel (Craig’s Royal, Ballarat) for brief with FFV
4pm – depart hotel with players
4.15pm – 4.30pm – Arrive at venue for clinic
5.30pm – depart venue
5.45pm – 6pm – Drop off players at hotel
Creswick Soccer Club – Creswick (pitch tbc)
2 x Drivers – must use their own car
Required to transport 5 players from the hotel, drop them off at the venue and then take them back to the hotel at conclusion of the clinic

Victoria Park Soccer Club – Victoria Park, Ballarat
2 x Drivers – must use their own car
Required to transport 5 players from the hotel, drop them off at the venue and then take them back to the hotel at conclusion of the clinic

In addition, we are looking for one driver who would be available all week (Monday – Sunday) 8am – 6pm to drive New Zealand delegates around. They will be provided with a car for this.
Event Match Day Operations
Flag Bearers x 18
Girls (12 to 18 years old) who will display the flags of FIFA, Australia & New Zealand prior to the game.

General Volunteers – Field of Play Assistants x 8/Ball Persons Co-ordinator x 1/Player Mascots/runner x 1
These roles must be filled by adults (18 plus) and can be either male or female. The field of play assistants will be stretcher bearers while the other roles will be assisting FFA with the management of the game. For these roles.
